Valuing the Contribution of Colleagues during the Covid-19 Pandemic

Organisation Development provides professional development services to staff at Durham University. In September 2018 the University Executive Committee endorsed the proposal for all Professional Services staff to be supported to undertake 21 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) (pro rata) and to engage with the Realising Your Potential Approach. In addition to training acitivites offered by Organisation Development also consider a range of on-the-job CPD including:
- learning from literature - journals, on-line learning, policies, personal self-reflection via Personal Development workbooks
- learning from colleagues - shadowing, mentoring/coaching, ADR, Communities of Practice
- learning from students/customers/external stakeholders - surveys, feedback, networks, professional bodies, conferences.
