Rachel Hawkes

Rachel works across the four secondary and four primary schools in The CAM Academy Trust. Director of International Education and Research, and SLE for languages, she is also a former President of ALL. Co-author of several textbooks, including the new Pearson textbook for GCSE Spanish (¡Viva!), she has a PhD from Cambridge University, focusing on teacher and learner interaction in the secondary languages classroom.

Sergio Troitiño

Sergio Troitiño has a degree in Filología Hispánica and an MA in Training Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Barcelona. He has been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language in Barcelona and Chicago and has given teacher-training courses in institutions and centres for the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language all over the world. He collaborates as a face-to-face teacher in the Master of Expert in E/LE in professional spheres and as an online teacher in the Master of Spanish as a Foreign Language Teacher Training, both at the University of Barcelona. He has been working in the publishing house Difusión as a teacher trainer and pedagogic adviser since 2006. He has also taken part in publishing projects such as Gente hoy, Yo que tú: manual de Gramática y poesía o Cuadernos de didáctica. Currently he is involved in training projects for Campus Difusión, such as Profes que cuentan o Ideas para la clase, and he leads and presents the ELE Webninars. He is co-author of Cuadernos de gramática española y Complementos de gramática y vocabulario of the new edition of the course Aula.
