Dr Nick Rees-Roberts [Bristol University]: seminar on contemporary French Queer Cinema [title to be confirmed]

The Culture/Difference Research Group based in Modern Languages has invited Dr Nick Rees-Roberts, Lecturer in French Film, Bristol University, to give a seminar on 12 May 2010. All University staff are welcome to attend.

His book French Queer Cinema also covers avant-garde video production, and his collaborative research with Maxime Cervulle looks at the history of colonial and postcolonial pornography. His current research projects include work on the cinema of Jacques Demy, and on men’s fashion and style on screen.
