In the context of our collaboration with the Durham Miners' Association (DMA), and as part of the May Day Rally that
they are organising with the local Labour Party, we are contributing a whole programme of activities exploring historic
links between mining communities in Britain and Russia, Ukraine & the USSR
, including an exhibition, talks, poetry readings, and language taster sessions.
The event will take place at the historic Redhills Miners' Hall building, Flass Street, Durham, between 12.30 and 6.30pm.

The event is open to all but the DMA has asked for those attending to register so that they can cater for the right numbers. To register please use the following Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/durham-may-day-rally-2019-tickets-60289839533
