Society for Friench Studies PG Conference: ‘The Return of the Author’

This year's postgraduate conference will take place on 27 April at Hatfield College, Durham University, and will consider the theme of 'The Return of the Author'. The full programme is now available to download here:

This promises to be a very exciting event: as well as a range of new research presented by PG students, the day will include a 'Translation in Conversation' session with Catherine Dousteyssier-Khoze and Tina O’Donnell (Durham University), and two keynote lectures:

Ashley Harris (Queen’s Belfast), ‘The Return of the (Media) Author: Addressing New Expressions of Authorship in the Digital Age’

Delphine Grass (Lancaster University), ‘“This Author is not for Turning”: The Return of the Author beyond the Creative/Critical Divide’

The conference is organised by Alexandre Burin and Sarah Budasz.
