Ballet workshop in French: Dr Geraldine Crahay

7th February 2019, 15:00, Dance Studio, Collingwood College, Durham University

Join us on Thursday, February 7, from 3pm - 4 pm, at Collingwood College Dance Studio for a ballet workshop taught in French. You will learn basic ballet exercises at the barre and the centre, as well as useful French vocabulary. If you have any questions, please email geraldine.crahay@durham.ac.uk.

Along with being fun and artistic, ballet is a healthy activity that can help you improve your balance, flexibility and core strength. It also has a positive impact on learning skills, such as planning, problem-solving and memorisation, and it reduces stress.

PS: This workshop primarily aims at people with some experience in French and beginners in ballet, but if you are an accomplished dancer and/or beginner in French, you are also welcome.

Contact geraldine.crahay@durham.ac.uk for more information about this event.
