‘Rakugo’ Performance and Workshop

We are very pleased to invite you to a performance and workshop of ‘Rakugo, a traditional Japanese form of comedic storytelling. Rakugo roots date back to the 16th century. 

Ms Diane Kichijitsu, ダイアン吉日, originally from Liverpool, who now lives and performs in Osaka, Japan as an English Rakugo performer will be offering a 90 minute demonstration of what Rakugo is, followed by a story and mini workshop.

Refreshments will be available after the workshop.

Venue: Reading Room at Lafcadio Hearn Cultural Centre (Teikyo University).
