Russian Seminar: Dr Andy Byford 'Parent-Child Relations in Russian and Soviet Cinema'

3rd December 2014, 17:00, A29, Elvet Riverside I, Durham University

I am very pleased to announce our talk & screening session Parent-Child Relations in Russian and Soviet Cinema. Dr Andy Byford, Senior Lecturer and Head of Russian, will give a talk on Soviet pedagogy under Stalinism. Rather fittingly, Andy's talk will be followed by the screening of Nikolai Ekk's 1931 film Putevka v zhizn' [aka Road to Life].

Contact andy.byford@durham.ac.uk for more information about this event.
