The North East German Network Launch Event
The North East German Network is part of the developing national ‘Think German’ network which is being initiated by universities in various regions across the UK. NEGN is dedicated to productive cross-cultural cooperation involving schools, cultural organizations, businesses, and policy-makers. The NEGN website will be a portal to all things German for schools, students, businesses and indeed for all those who have an interest in the German language and its culture within the North East region.
The School of Modern Languages at Newcastle University and the School of Modern Languages and Cultures at Durham University are very grateful for the generous support provided by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany which has enabled the North East German Network to be created.
