Invitations are extended to educators, researchers, community groups and healthcare practitioners with an interest in the challenges surrounding inter-cultural communication in a healthcare context. We wish to share experiences and ideas with the objective to facilitate introduction of language and cultural awareness into healthcare education curricula in Higher Education, to facilitate healthcare research amongst culturally diverse groups, and to improve patient outcomes in a culturally and linguistically diverse space. This will potentially generate ideas for future collaborative projects.
