Franco-German Café at the Gala Theatre

9th May 2011, 18:00, Gala Theatre, Durham City

After a long Easter break, the Franco-German Café is back this Monday (9th May), from 6 till 8 pm at the Gala, so do come along to practise your French and/or your German.

Also there is a new French movie showing soon at the Gala cinema, with an offer you simply cannot refuse... See below the message from the Gala cinema for more details:

Little White Lies (Les Petits mouchoirs) (15) 154 mins Dir. Guillaume Canet, with Marion Cotillard, François Cluzet | in French with English subtitles Tell No One's director and lead actor reunite for this starry ensemble drama, a deft blend of comedy and melodrama, sure to delight fans of French cinema. A group of friends head to the south of France for their annual holiday at the seaside house of Max, a successful but hyper-stressed restaurateur. Secrets, desires and insecurities emerge, with Max in particular heading for meltdown after being rattled by an intimate confession from his closest friend. Leisurely, classily made and showcasing some fine acting, this is the perfect film for early summer. From 13 May

... et en plus...!
To ease you into a summery south-of-France mood, we're offering ticket holders for Little White Lies a FREE glass of French wine from our Intervals bar throughout the film's run with us.
