How to Apply

In order to apply to Durham Law School LL.B, all applicants must apply through UCAS.

LNAT : National Admissions Test for Law

All students applying for the LL.B Law are required to participate in the LNAT. Full details are available from the LNAT website.

Please note the deadlines for sitting the test. All Home and EU are required to register for LNAT by 15th January and to sit the test by 20th January in the year during the admissions cycle in which they submit their UCAS application. International students who apply before the 15th January must have registered for and sat the test by the 20th January 2020. International students who apply after 15th January must have registered for and sat the test by the 30th June 2020.

Within the admissions cycle, you may submit your UCAS application form before sitting the LNAT. Please note however that we will not consider your application until an LNAT score and essay are submitted.

Additional Supporting Information

In fairness to all applicants, we only consider the information contained in the UCAS form and LNAT test. In exceptional circumstances, however, we may also consider additional information relating to mitigating circumstances that have had a serious adverse bearing on a candidate's academic performance during their time in education.

Please note that such information must be submitted to the Study at Durham team before UCAS applications are submitted. This applies to applicants, schools and colleges.
