Self-isolators over the vacation period
For those students who are staying College over the vacation period and find that they have to self-isolate, this is what you need to do:

How to report absence
It’s important that you notify the University if you have symptoms of, or have tested positive for coronavirus, or are self-isolating.
You must follow the Covid-19 Status Notification Process. This process uses an online form in Banner, accessed through Duo. For full details, please see here.

You cannot enter the College Building or the Hub (apart from the laundry). If you need to get in touch with Reception for any reason, please call the 24/7 number 07912746027
Make sure that you get outside for some daily exercise in the College grounds for at least one hour per day. Wear your face covering when there are other people near and maintain your social distance of 2 metres apart from others
Order a food shop to be delivered as you cannot go to the shops, you are allowed to meet the delivery van in the College car park, remember to wear your face covering and maintain 2m distance.
You cannot use the facilities in the Hub apart from the laundry which will be reserved for self-isolators daily between 5.30pm until 7:30pm. You do not need to book a laundry slot just keep to the 5:30pm - 7:30pm slot and only enter the laundry if no one else is in.
For non-urgent, but nevertheless important student support and welfare issues, email email@example.com - this will be checked twice a day until Friday 18th December 2020. It will not be checked between Saturday 19th December 2020 and Sunday 3rd January 2021. Please see the information at the bottom of this message for contacts for external support you can use during that period. It is worth noting that other staff email accounts will also not be checked during this period.
For those of you living in Durham City, whether you live-in or live-out, in the case of an Emergency and you need to speak to a University On-Call Officer, please call our College Porter on 07912746027 and they will connect you to the On-call Duty Officer. This is a 24/7 number.
