Visual Evidence (Ghosts - the Evidence of Spirits) Public Lecture series: 'Embodied Shadows: sculpted memory, sensed presence, and the third party'

3rd May 2016, 18:15 to 19:15, Room ER140, Elvet Riverside Building, Professor Douglas Davies (Theology, University of Durham)

Due to popular demand, this is one of two new lectures to feature as part of the Ghosts - the Evidence of Spirits lecture series.

Sometimes it seems that someone else is with us. With an eye to notions of grief, God, and identity, this talk combines historical and contemporary anthropological views with empirical and speculative material to explore such sensed presence, especially of the dead.

This lecture is free and open to all.

Map - Elvet Riverside is denoted as building No. 25
