Forms of Time Research Conversation - Disciplines (configuration)

24th January 2013, 16:00, Seminar Room, Institute of Advanced Study

This meeting will begin with a short presentation by Rebecca Ferreboeuf (Durham, MLAC) exploring the intertwinement of time and matter in a French modernist novel which addresses the problem of how to kill time: Dan Yack by Blaise Cendrars. In the ensuing discussion all participants will have the opportunity to share ideas about how their own research relates to the issue of time and its various forms.

The forum is open to all; there is no requirement to have attended the conversations last term. We look forward to welcoming colleagues and postgraduates from across the University with research interests in these or related areas.
