Workforce Planning support departments with their Athena Swan applications by providing data on staff headcount, leavers, recruitment and promotions.
Staff headcount and leavers information is taken from our HESA Staff return. Annually Workforce Planning will send updated data to departments who are involved in the Athena Swan process.
Workforce Planning find it is useful to meet with departmental Athena Swan leads alongside a member of the Equality and Diversity team to discuss the staff data provided. This gives the department an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the staff data required for their submission.
