Women@DU is a new network that brings together staff from across Durham University who identify as female, in order to share experiences, opportunities and knowledge, offering mutual support and a networking space to discuss issues that are important to us.
We bring together both academic and professional service colleagues in an inclusive community, regardless of grade or role within the university.
This is a brand new initiative, launching in March 2019.
The network will officially launch on Thursday 21st March 12pm-2pm (venue tbc), where we will welcome Vicky Jack as our external speaker.
Following this launch event we will host 2 separate workshops to bring together female colleagues from across the University to discuss what they would like to see the network support in terms of activities, and this will be the basis for future planned activities.
