Disability Support

Disability Support

Support is available for students over the winter break for those who remain in Durham and can be found on the University's Covid-19 Response pages. Support is also available from Student Space including dedicated helplines that are open 365 days a year.

Due to the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic and staffing shortages we are experiencing high demand for appointments. We are proactively addressing this and re-configuring our appointment offer to meet demand. Thank you for your patience at this busy time.

Helping students reach their academic potential

Disability Support offers advice and guidance to both prospective and current students within the University. We also arrange appropriate provision for disabled students, as well as offer support to those who think they may have a disability.

"I would like to thank you for all the help you provided over the past year. I really appreciate it. I also appreciated the Autism introduction to university which you provided before freshers week. It really helped me to orientate myself and provided me with much more peace of mind."
