Online exhibition discovers hidden history of the Women of Castle

The exhibition explores the Women of Castle project, which was carried out by artist Bex Harvey. Bex chronicled the history of women within Durham Castle and gathered photographs, media and never before heard stories on the Women of Castle.

Bex profiled ten Women of Castle, took around 5,000 photographs, created the first ladies flag, and more. The women profiled include staff, alumni and names from both the present and past communities.
