Logo for the Triple-A project

We are delighted to announce the launch of a free evidenced-based online Triple-A training tool for teachers, developed by our team in the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development. Triple-A refers to a set of ‘hidden’ challenges with attention, arousal (sensory processing), and anxiety, which are experienced by many autistic and neurodivergent pupils at school

The team have used research evidence from the Centre for Neurodiversity and Development to change understanding of the nature of these issues at school. Importantly, they have worked in collaboration with the Communication and Interaction Team at Durham County Council to develop practical strategies to support pupils who experience Triple-A issues at school.

The project has been supported by Research England and the Economic and Social Research Council.
