We invite you to join us for our next undergraduate open days on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 September 2023. Come and find out about the eight languages you can study as a beginner or post A-level. Discover our broad range of modules covering literature, visual culture, history, politics, translation, philosophy and more. Learn about the year abroad and the enhanced employability that a degree in Modern Languages from Durham will give you.
As well as general presentations about the department as a whole, you are welcome to attend language-specific sessions where you can meet staff and students. Every session will include time for a Q&A, so please don’t hesitate to ask us anything about what your time at Durham would involve. We have scheduled repeat sessions to maximise flexibility for you on your visit.
If you have any questions about the Modern Languages programmes, please feel free to email the School’s admissions officer Professor Tom Wynn at thomas.wynn@dur.ac.uk
