Thom Brooks to give keynote lecture at LegalEdCon 2025

LegalEdCon is a major conference about legal education organised annually by Legal Cheek. In its eighth year, the event takes place at King's Place, London on 15 May 2025.

The conference brings together learning and development plus graduate recruitment teams from over 150 leading law firms along with prominent academics and industry figures.
This year's speakers will include the Director of Education & Learning at the Solicitors Regulation Authority, head of learning and development at Norton Rose Fulbright, academy manager at Mischon de Reya, a senior paralegal at Kingsley Napley, BPP University Law School's head of school, BARBRI's director of learning and the University of Law's director of learning.
This year's keynote lecture will be delivered by Durham Law School's Thom Brooks, professor of law and government and Dean 2016-2021. His lecture will examine the SQE and make a case for its urgent reform.
