DEI comments on Sussex oil find

(10 April 2015)

Following yesterday's announcement that there could be 100 Billion barrels of oil beneath the Sussex Weald, DEI experts were in high demand by media across the world.

Dr. Liam Herringshaw was interviewed on the 5live drive programme where he commented "The area is “undoubtedly oil-rich,” But trying to extract oil from it directly is technically rather different.”

The interview then went on to discuss whether fracking was an option for extraction.
