ICE Evening Lecture: Offshore Wind Power and Other Marine Renewables

Institution of Civil Engineers Lecture by Professor Guy Houlsby, University of Oxford

The talk will address the motivation for the development of the "marine renewables" sector in the UK (offshore wind, tidal and wave power).  It will address the current state of the offshore and wind industry, and the obstacles and challenges for future development.  It will then move on to the emerging tidal power industry, in which the UK is playing a key role.

The lecture will be open to all; no registration is needed. 

Refreshments will be available from 17:45.
