Photovoltaics Seminars

27th November 2018, 12:00 to 15:00, Musgrave Room, Chemistry department, Durham University

2 back-to-back seminars will be delivered on topics relating to photovoltaics:

Assoc. Prof Bryan Koivisto (Department of Chemistry, Ryerson University) on “Bio-inspired dyes for light-harvesting applications

and Dr Ali Huerta (Groves Group, Durham Engineering) on Development of new photocatalysts for the production of renewable fuels

Both speakers are involved in the development of photovoltaics, and the topics they cover will range from organic synthesis and photophysics through to device preparation, so there should be something in there for everyone.

Dr Ali Huerta is one of our visiting Rutherford Fellows which you can find out more about at https://www.durham.ac.uk/dei/projects/rutherford/

Lunch will be available from 1200 in the Musgrave Room (CG141), followed by the talks starting at 1215.
