WIFIPLUG SMART Plug - THIS SEMINAR HAS BEEN POSTPONED

26th April 2018, 13:00 to 13:00, ES231, Arthur Holmes Building, Durham University, Leon Doyle

THIS SEMINAR HAS BEEN POSTPONED (NEW DATE TBC)

Come along to this seminar to hear about a UK startup WIFIPLUG, which has filed 2 patents based on the data they have sourced from the 50,000 smart plugs they have shipped in the UK.

WIFIPLUG is a SMART Plug with a difference. In fact, it's the SMARTest SMART plug on Planet Earth. Our patent pending technology uses artificial intelligence in order to learn user routines and turn off devices when nobody's in. That means your media centre or TV on standby will use no energy whatsoever while you're out and about or asleep! That could represent a saving of $200 for the average household, every single year. So essentially, the plug pays for itself! What's more, we've partnered with Apple and run their HomeKit hardware, meaning our setup process is lightning-fast. On top of that, WIFIPLUG tells you about your energy consumption, usage habits, allows you to create group timers and is the only SMART plug to work with Siri, Alexa, Google and IFTTT. There's no need for any additional hardware either - no bridge, no gateway: no hassle.
