According to Bloomberg, offshore wind costs are set to fall by 71% by 2040, putting it into direct competition financially with other mainstream or traditional forms of energy. The UK has been the world leader in offshore wind for a number of years, with more installed capacity than any other country. In fact, the UK has 5.1GW of operational capacity with another 4.5GW under construction.

With such huge numbers, small changes can count, so we ask here how the use of data and predictive analysis can maximise the current and future availability statistics of turbines and how technology can capture more and enhance the quality of data.
