The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate learning and research between organisations to support more effective risk management of assets by discussing different approaches used by a range of businesses and organisations.  

Background

Asset management involves systematic and coordinated activities and practices which enable organisations to optimally and sustainably manage their assets, their associated performance, risks and expenditures over their life cycles for the purpose of achieving their organisational strategic plan. Assets include both tangible assets such as buildings, but also intangible assets such as human capital and intellectual property, which all contribute to the organisational strategic plan.

The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate learning and research between organisations to support more effective risk management of assets by discussing different approaches used by a range of businesses and organisations. Discussion will explore the key challenges faced in asset management and identify promising innovations from different sectors to build on.

The workshop will have participants from the energy sector power generation and distribution industries, water sector and transport infrastructure industries as well as key academics working in the field of asset management.

Booking details:

Fee for the full workshop is £40 to cover lunch, refreshments and evening reception.
