Running a Successful Community Energy Project

10th September 2015, 13:00 to 17:00, Chilton WMC, Chilton, Co Durham

Durham Energy Institute in collaboration with Chilton Green Energy Foundation and Durham County Council are hosting a Community Energy event at Chilton Working Men’s Club on Thursday 10th September to promote community energy projects as part of Community Energy Fortnight. In attendance will be representatives from Durham Energy Institute and public sector officers, along with Community Energy representatives and other community voluntary agencies.

The event will showcase successful projects that have been implemented across County Durham, outlining the problems and pitfalls and highlighting the benefits of installing renewable technologies and energy efficient products.

Do come along to the event if you are keen to develop a community energy project and discuss your options with experienced organisations OR just come along to see what opportunities are available to create a more sustainable community.
