Substation monitoring is becoming a vital foundation to understanding the operation of the electricity network. Through a range of Low Carbon Networks Fund projects, inlcuding the Durham CLNR project, Western Power Distribution has gathered a wide range of learning associated with choosing, installing and using this equipment.

This free knowledge dissemination event will give you an opportunity to:

• Hear about real projects and the installation challenges faced

• View substation monitoring products from a range of manufactures exhibiting at the event

• Study some of the challenges associated with making the most of the data 

• Explore the National Space Centre
