Energy for Development (E4Dev)

E4Dev is a group of interdisciplinary researchers and students who meet once a month to share their common interest in energy as it relates to development issues of poverty, unequal energy access, and transitions to renewables. This need not just be about developing world contexts.

This group is open to all academic staff, postgraduates and undergraduates who are working in any energy field, or even who are thinking of extending their research interest into energy.

The group aims to provide an informal space where energy researchers from different disciplines across the university have a chance to meet, learn about each other's work, and discuss and debate key energy issues, especially around the UN ambition for achieving sustainable energy for all. This monthly meeting will also give energy researchers across the university a chance to share information about publications, grants, conferences and collaboration with each other for future research opportunities. E4Dev is flexible and run by its members.

If you have an interest in energy and its role in development please come and join us!
