Non-perturbative Field Theory

Non-perturbative aspects of field theory is an important theme in our work. The study of classical soliton solutions is an important area of activity, in which the group has a long-standing presence. We are also active in the study of non-perturbative aspects of string and M-theory, and the study of field theories with boundaries. A recent area of development is resurgence, an approach to reconstructing non-perturbative information from the asymptotics of the perturbation expansion. CPT solitons
