Nature, Power and Modernity in early-Soviet Georgian Cinema

In this research talk, Dr Dušan Radunovic discussed nature in Georgian avant-garde art writing, visual art and film in the period between 1915-1930.

The Harder They Come with host Dr Kenny Monrose

As part of Black History Month, Dr Kenny Monrose hosted a viewing of Perry Henzell’s classic crime drama The Harder They Come and a discussion of the film’s key messages.

  • Year Abroad Film Maker Competition

    Tom Mason won our short film competition with Body of Wine, in which a young man travels back to the vineyard where he grew up and encounters his estranged father. Tom is pictured, right, collecting the prize from Simon Litchfield, Exchanges and Study Abroad Manager.
