Katie Finney wins prize in Ireland

(9 July 2014)

Congratulations to Katie Finney on winning a poster prize at the RSC International Meeting on Challenges in Inorganic and Materials Chemistry (ISACS13) in Dublin in July. Her poster was titled 'Development of 1H PARASHIFT Probes for Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Imaging'.

Katie is currently a second-year PhD student with Professor David Parker. The photograph shows Katie given her award by Neil Withers of Chemistry World. Interestingly, Neil was an undergraduate and postgraduate (with Professor John Evans) in this department.
