Create solutions to the world's biggest challenges. Be a GAME CHANGER.

Join us for GAME CHANGER Sprint, a two-day innovation challenge exclusively for Durham University students. You'll work as part of a team to develop new ideas that help contribute to one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Teams will pitch their ideas for the chance to win a share of £1,000 prize money.

For the 2020/21 academic year GAME CHANGER Sprint will take place online. It has been developed utilising insights from world leaders in design thinking methodology. By taking part, you'll have the chance to:

  • Explore a global problem and understand its impact
  • Generate ideas that contribute one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals
  • Create a plan to implement your idea
  • Develop your communication and pitching skills
  • Compete to win a share of £1,000

What's Involved?

Teams of 3-5 people will be assigned randomly once you have registered. You will be working with students from a range of disciplines and assigned a space on Microsoft Teams in which to meet/chat in between tasks. If you already have a team (no more than 5 people), please let us know by emailing Rachel Bickerdike.

Joining instructions for the tools you will use to complete the challenge will be sent prior to the sprint.
