Services for Durham graduates
Registering on the Student Services Portal gives you access to the vacancies that we advertise on behalf of Graduate employers, and enables us to book and keep a record of any appointments you have with us.
To register as a graduate on the Student Services Portal select 'Register; which is within the 'Graduate Login & Registration' option. As soon as your registration has been approved you will receive a password that will enable you to use the system. It is important that you login via the 'Graduate Login & Registration' option within the Student Services Portal as the other login links will not work.
If you are studying a Postgraduate course at Durham, you will be automatically registered as a student on the system and should log in via the student login link.
Appointments and Email Advice
Within one year of graduating
We offer the same level and type of support to recent Durham graduates (within one year of graduation) as we do to our undergraduate and postgraduate students, including the opportunity to book appointments during term time. However, in busier periods when demand is high, we may not be able to offer you an appointment straightaway - Michaelmas term is particularly busy when demand from our current students is at a peak.
You are welcome to email us with your enquiry, including for CV and application form feedback, and we aim to respond within 5 working days, although there may be a delay during term time and busy periods. Depending on the nature of your enquiry, you may be asked to make an appointment if it is advice rather than information that you require.
Beyond one year of graduating
We offer support indefinitely to Durham graduates, however, if you graduated over a year ago we are only able to offer you an appointment during the University's vacation periods and subject to availability. This includes email advice such as CV and application feedback.

If having read through this, you would still like to make an appointment, please telephone us as we are unable to arrange this via email. We offer telephone / Skype appointments if you are unable to attend in person.
You can also contact your local University careers centre to enquire if they can offer any help or advice.
