Santander Universities Employability Scheme

As a Santander Universities partner, Durham University is part of the Santander Universities Employability Scheme running in 2021.

The initiative provides full funding for businesses to employ a student or recent graduate on a project lasting up to 104 hours, offering meaningful work experience opportunities for students and bringing new ideas, skills and a valuable additional resource to the company, creating a unique partnership. Projects can be remote or in person (depending on current COVID guidance).
One of the many benefits of this scheme is to raise the profile of the organisations taking part as an option for graduate employment after university.

Projects should involve graduate-level work and we look for opportunities suitable for students across all subjects and departments.

We are currently accepting project proposals. Deadline for the first phase of proposal submissions is 28 Feb 2021.

If you would like to submit a project for consideration or discuss the scheme in more detail, please contact
