The WRIHW and Dept. of Biosciences welcomes Dr Laura Johnston

The Department of Biosciences host its first Leverhulme "Artist in Residence" Dr Laura Johnston in 2017 to work with Dr Paul Chazot, Dr Boguslaw Obara (Engineering & Computer sciences), and local NE architects, JDDK on the "Enlighten" project (https://www.dur.ac.uk/wolfson.institute/research/), to quantify and optimise the health benefits of light in internal and external spaces; the first experimental location is the Newcastle Marie Curie Hospice. This project is also funded by the Arts Council and Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing.
