Religious Experience in Predictive Minds

Hearing the Voice warmly invites you to attend a public lecture by Uffe Schjødt on Religious Experience in Predictive Minds

During his public lecture on 28 June, Uffe Schjødt (Aarhus University) will outline the predictive processing framework, explore its possible application to the study of religious experience, and consider the challenges associated with designing suitable experimental paradigms.

The event is free and will take place in ER207 (Elvet Riverside Lecture Theatre) from 5-7PM.

The Third Annual WRIHW Early Career Researcher Conference

The Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing are delighted to host their Third Annual Early Career Researcher conference taking place in June at the Calman Learning Centre. This full day event will begin with an introduction from The Vice Chancellor and Warden Professor Stuart Corbridge.

Calling all undergraduates, postgraduates and postdocs involved in research. The Wolfson Early Career Researcher Committee invites you all to take part in the Third Annual Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing’s Early Career Researcher Conference taking place at Durham University on 11th June 2018.

The Wolfson Early Career Researcher committee is constituted by PhD students and postdocs in their early career and focus on nurturing an early career research (ECR) community in Durham across all departments.

The conference aims to showcase the wide range of research at Durham University and promote interdisciplinary work amongst early career researchers. The conference will include poster sessions and talks, where participants have the opportunity to engage with the wider academic audience across Durham University. All disciplines are welcome and encouraged to submit and attend.


It is essential you register your place for catering purposes (whether you are participating in the oral and poster presentations or attending the day); this is required by no later than Friday 25th May. Please click on the link to register your place.
