Wolfson Workshop in collaboration with Public Health England - Scaling up: Aggregating Indices of Deprivation Data from LSOA to Higher Geographic Units

This workshop will be run by Jo Cairns-Nagi, Post-doctoral Research Associate, Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing and Gillian Bryant, Health Information Analyst, Public Health England, NYKIT.

This workshop aims to provide an introduction to, and a demonstration of a method that might be used to aggregate Indices of Deprivation (ID) scores at Lower Super Output Area (LSOA) to higher geographic units using the ‘Average of LSOA scores’ method as described in ‘The English Indices of Deprivation 2010’ Technical Report ( Microsoft Access Database will be the software used in this demonstration.

This workshop is open to Postgraduate Associates, Postgraduate Students and Wolfson Fellows who have an interest in health and ID data sources.

Wolfson Coffee Morning

A Wolfson coffee morning will be held on Monday 1st July 2013 from 10.30am - 11.00am in the Wolfson Street.
