The Ninth Death Dying and Disposal Conference (DDD9) will be held at Durham University from September 9th-12th 2009 under the auspices of the University's Centre for Death and Life Studies (Director Prof. Douglas Davies)  and the University's Institute for Advanced Studies. This international conference, held every two years since 1993, will continue to bring together academics and practitioners from many of the Arts-Humanities, Social-Sciences and Medicine-Palliative Care fields.
