Professor Ted Marmor, Professor of Public Policy and Management & Professor of Political Science, Yale University has agreed to come to Wolfson and speak on 'The Promise and Perils of Cross-National Policy Learning in the World of Health and Health Care

Educated at Harvard and Oxford, Ted Marmor teaches at Yale`s law school, political science department, and school of management. His books include The Politics of Medicare (1973, 2000), America`s Misunderstood Welfare State, co-authored with Mashaw and Harvey (1992), Understanding Health Care Reform (1994) and Fads and Fashions in Medical Care Management (2004). Former editor of the Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law (1980-85), former policy advisor to Mondale (1983-84), Marmor is a fellow of the Institute of Medicine, The National Academy of Social Insurance, and emeritus fellow of the Canadian Institute of Advanced Research (1987-93).
