Make In Durham
Come along to Make In Durham to watch some of the North East's talented artists, craftspeople and makers at work. Have a go, develop a new creative skill, and make some new and exciting art and craft together.
Make in Durham is a free event that will challenge visitors to fold a thousand paper cranes, create a community sand sculpture that represents the city through time, and participate in other artistic activities.
The North East’s artists, craftspeople and makers will be showcasing their workshop offerings and teaching their skills. Across the 15 stands, visitors can glimpse how a stained glass window is made, discover digital portraiture, learn how to make a mosaic, and many more.
Drop-in at any time during the day. For more information visit Make In Durham on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/432903703816513/ or Durham Bid at http://www.durhambid.co.uk/events/make-durham
