Opening the Door: Discovering Durham University's Western Art Collection

Durham University's Western Art Collection contains a significant number of prints by leading artists and is one of the most important university collections of 20th and 21st century art in the
UK. This exhibition explores the different printing techniques used by artists, from early methods of woodcut printing to more contemporary screen and digital printing techniques and features works by Andy Warhol, Elizabeth Frink, Eduardo Paolozzi and Patrick Heron.

The exhibition is in the McGuinness Gallery, Bishop Auckland Town Hall. Free entry. The exhibition is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm and Saturday, 9:30am to 12:30pm.
