Elysium Theatre Company presents the Durham premiere of J P Miller's play with a new version by Owen McCafferty.
"They are not long, the days of wine and roses..."
A drama of hope and dreams, love and loss, 'Days Of Wine And Roses' is a riveting reworking for stage of the classic film starring Jack Lemon and Lee Remick by Owen MacCafferty, award-winning author of 'Shoot The Crow' (Royal Exchange), 'Scenes From The Big Picture' (National Theatre) and 'Quietly' (Dublin, Edinburgh, London & New York).

Donal and Mona come to England to make a new life. It's the Swinging Sixties, they fall in love and set up home. The whole world seems to be at their feet, but Donal drinks, and as Mona is drawn in to his life style their love is put to the ultimate test.
