Welcome to Durham University
Sitting right at the heart of this historic city, Durham University is perfectly placed to offer a dazzling array of events and activities, not just to students and staff, but to all the people of the region and the wider general public.
Our unique cultural attractions including Durham Castle, Botanic Garden, Palace Green Library, Oriental Museum and Assembly Rooms Theatre, attract thousands of visitors every year. This year however, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, they are unable to open in the usual way. The good news is that this doesn't mean you can't still enjoy a wide variety of performances and exhibitions, an extensive programme of public lectures and a whole host of online exhibitions and other activities, as we are working hard to deliver an exciting programme of online events not just for our students, but for everyone to enjoy.
So whatever your interest, check out Durham University's 'What's On Guide' - we look forward to seeing you online soon!
