Book your place
We would be delighted if you could join us for our Theology and Religion Teachers and Advisers Conference on Thursday 22 June. The conference is completely free of charge. We can even provide free parking at our nearby park and ride!
View our joining instructions for information on travelling to Durham.
Our full programme will be confirmed in due course. Overall the conference aims to up-skill teachers and provide you with information for your continuing professional development. The conference will positively contribute to continuing professional development of RE/Philosophy teachers by (i) presenting cutting-edge research relevant to the curriculum, (ii) sharing and developing pedagogical techniques and (iii) providing information on access and admissions to the university. I hope that we can welcome you to what is due to be a fabulous day shared by fellow passionate and proactive educators in the academic field. It will also be a great opportunity to network with other teachers and university staff.
We will have the following speakers presenting on the following themes at the conference:
Prof. Robert Song on Theology and Climate Change; Prof. Karen Kilby on the Problem of Evil; and Dr. Guillermo Martin-Saiz on Islam.
