Research postgraduate visiting student fees

Research postgraduate visiting students are defined as students who attend the University and receive advice and support through supervision and use of research facilities. Such students may also join existing taught modules where this would support their research. These students will receive no credit or qualification from the University for either the research they undertake or any taught modules they join. Fees charged to these students are as follows:-

Fees for 2014/15 will be £400.
Fees for 2015/16 will be £400.
RCUK-funded Doctoral Training Partnerships, Centres for Doctoral Training or Doctoral Training Centres may have established agreements for PGR students to access training and certain research facilities. If such a reciprocal agreement is in place, a fee-free visiting rate has been established for these students whereby students being hosted at partner organisations will not pay visiting student fees to access Durham's resources, and students hosted at Durham will not pay visiting fees at other partner institutions.

NB: Information contained on the website or in the literature with respect to the fee is correct at the time of publication but the University reserves the right to change the course information or fee at a later date.
