Programme for 2019-20 seminars, lectures, and symposia announced
(30 September 2019)
The Michael Ramsey Centre for Anglican Studies series of public seminars, lectures, and symposia returns with a full programme for 2019-20.
Four annual lectures are among the highlights of the programme, alongside seminars showcasing the latest research in the field from leading scholars across the country and in Durham.
The seminar programme begins on Wednesday 16 October, with Revd Dr Philip Lockley (Diocese of Oxford) speaking on 'Metrics and the imagery of growth in the modern Church of England’.
The schedule also includes two Anglican Communion Office Seminars, focusing on topics in the worldwide Anglican Communion.
We are also delighted to host the latest Scott Holland Symposium, on Saturday 4 April 2020, on the theme of 'Anglican Churches in Post-War Reconstruction, Nation-Building, and Peace and Reconciliation since 1945'.
Seminars and lectures are free and open to all without advanced booking (although booking is required and a regsitration fee payable for the Scott Holland Symposium).
