Your experience on a Summer School is modelled on the experiences of a first year undergraduate. You can expect to have four full days of academic activity, including lectures, seminars, laboratory and field work, and research, depending on the subject strand you choose. Academic sessions are designed to be challenging and inspiring. Each subject strand is led by an academic expert, and you will have the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge research questions that are being asked at Durham. You will develop a sense of the many opportunities that are available to you within each academic department throughout the week. Below is the timetable for the 2017 Summer Schools.
Week 1: Sunday 13th August - Friday 18th August 2017
