Durham University Sutton Trust Summer School

Academic Programme

Your experience on a Summer School is modelled on the experiences of a first year undergraduate. You can expect to have four full days of academic activity, including lectures, seminars, laboratory and field work, and research, depending on the subject strand you choose. Academic sessions are designed to be challenging and inspiring. Each subject strand is led by an academic expert, and you will have the opportunity to explore the cutting-edge research questions that are being asked at Durham. You will develop a sense of the many opportunities that are available to you within each academic department throughout the week. Below is a table with all of the dates for the 2018 Summer Schools, and there are also links on the left hand side to find out more about each of the individual subjects you can apply for.
